The upcoming National Training Week (NTW) at the Royal St. George Yacht Club in Dun Laoghaire is expected to have over 100 boats participating.

Often referred to as "Cork Week for kids," NTW is an event where young sailors in Ireland come to improve their skills. The event will feature a world-class coaching lineup with experienced coaches from the sailing world, providing guidance to participants on and off the water.

Johnny Durcan & Seafra Guilfoyle

Olympic trialists Johnny Durcan & Seafra Guilfoyle may be known for their 49er prowess, but they got their start in the Optimist class, just like the kids they'll be coaching. Dara O’Shea
Dara brings extensive coaching experience, having led some of Ireland’s best Optimist sailors. His coaching has taken teams to the World Championships, including two top-20 finishes in 2019.

The event culminates in the Crosbie Cup and Halloween Regatta on Saturday, November 2nd.
