The Irish RS Aero Nationals will take place this weekend at Greystones Sailing Club, which is known for its growing RS Aero fleet.

Scorie Walls from Howth will officiate from the committee boat. The competition is expected to be intense at the front of the fleet.

Title defender Paul McMahon from Howth is set to race, joined by Thomas Chaix, the newly crowned French National Champion and Aero coach.

Daragh Sheridan, a European Master Champion, will also compete, known for his consistently strong performances on the regional circuit. Greystones' Roy Van Maanen recently secured wins against world champion Noel Butler, a frequent podium finisher in international RS Aero events.

Additionally, some ILCA sailors may join the starting line, adding further competition to the mix. Race winners will share strategic tips with the fleet over the weekend, and prizes will be awarded to youth, novice, and female competitors.
