The RS400 Frostie Series concluded at the Royal North of Ireland Yacht Club (RNIYC) on 21 December after a full final day of racing.
Sailors returned to the water following a weather-enforced break, greeted by south-easterly winds of 8 to 15 knots.
Race officer Gerry Reid signalled intent early. A general recall at the opening start led to the black flag being flown for the remainder of the day.
Liam Donnelly and Rick McCaig took control of race one from the first beat and held their lead to the finish. Tom Purdon and Olivia Hayes finished second, with Patrick Hamilton and Jakob Ozarek third.
Race two saw the breeze shift east, tightening the start line at the pin end. Former series winners Kennedy and Kane led throughout to take the win.
McIlwaine and Wilson followed in second, with Hastings and Higgins close behind in third.

For race three, the course was rotated again as the wind continued to veer. Purdon and Hayes led much of the race before Gareth Flannigan and Knox Wilson edged ahead at the line to win by seconds.
After racing, competitors gathered at the Royal North bar before prizegiving.
The RS400 Traveller Series Trophy went to Liam Donnelly and Rick McCaig of Carrickfergus Sailing Club.
Overall, the Frostie Series featured 15 races, seven different winners and crews from ten clubs.
Third place went to Donnelly, sailing with Katy Nelson and McCaig, on 51 points. Ross Kearney and Andrew Vaughan of RNIYC finished second on 43 points.
The overall title went to first-time winners Gareth Flannigan of Ballyholme YC and Knox Wilson of East Down YC.
Flannigan thanked RNIYC, the race team, sponsors, and the competitors. He said, “You never look out for one boat — you look out for them all.”
