Kinsale Yacht Club's Ian Travers and Keith O'Riordan are off to a strong start at the 2025 Irish Squib National Championships on Lough Derg this weekend.
The recently crowned Northern Champions scored a 2,1 in the opening two races on Friday to lead by five points from Ric O'Shea, sailed by Tom Jeffcoate and Mark Hogan.
Welsh crew Richard Robinson and Mark Thompson in Grayling are lying third on the same eight points.
Racing continues for the 42-boat fleet over the weekend.
