Oasis co-founder Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs was given a behind-the-scenes tour of Dublin Port during a visit on 24 April. The guitarist, who performed at Croke Park with Noel and Liam Gallagher last August, explored port operations and key landmarks, including Poolbeg Lighthouse.
Dublin Port Company said the visit highlighted the port’s role in supporting major live events alongside trade and tourism.
Claire Percy, Head of External Affairs at Dublin Port, said: “We were delighted to welcome the legendary Bonehead to Dublin Port and give him a behind-the-scenes look at the vital role the Port plays.” She added, “It was a great opportunity to showcase the scale and teamwork involved, and to highlight Dublin Port’s role in enabling major live events.”
Arthurs shared his experience on Instagram, thanking staff for the tour. “Massive thank you… for the tour of Dublin Port and the Bay. Glad I didn’t crash the pilot boat!” he wrote. The visit follows Dublin Port’s involvement in handling stage infrastructure for Oasis concerts at Croke Park in 2025.
