Entries have opened for the Swim Ireland Dun Laoghaire Harbour race which takes place this Sunday, August 4th.
Continuing the tradition and format of the race, swimmers will be allocated handicaps, and the programme starts with the children’s swim at 11.30am.
The women’s race starts at 12 noon, with the men’s race at 1.30pm.
Registration for the women’s (aged 14 up) and children’s categories opens from 10am to 11am and registration for the men’s swim (aged 14 up) runs from 11am to 12 noon.
Safety briefings will take place before each race.
Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event (except when in the water), and the contest is open to Swim Ireland members in both wetsuits and non-wetsuits.

Swimmers must be Swim Ireland members and must have swum a race of 1500 metres or more in open water since January 1st, 2023.
To be eligible for prizes in category 1, participants must have raced in a minimum of 4 races run under the auspices of Swim Ireland.
These include open water events run by Swim Ireland, Swim Ireland clubs or events on the Leinster Open Sea Calendar during 2023 and 2024.
