Marine Notice: Bathymetric Survey Operations Along Dublin and Wicklow Coast

The Department of Transport has been advised that Hydrographic Surveys Limited will undertake a geophysical survey on behalf of Iarnród Éireann under Maritime Usage Licence MUL240023.

Work will commence on Thursday 1 October for a duration of four weeks, depending on weather and operational constraints.

The surveys will take place in three discrete areas along the Dublin and Wicklow coast.

The survey will be conducted by the MV Betty Frank (callsign EIA3214), which will display the appropriate lights and shapes for a vessel restricted in its ability to manoeuvre while on survey line. A continuous listening watch will be maintained on VHF Channel 16.

Local harbour authorities (Dun Laoghaire, Greystones and Wicklow) and the Irish Coast Guard MRCC Dublin will be notified in advance of, and during, operations.
