The Royal Cork Yacht Club's Thursday and Friday evening June/July Leagues concluded with Friday night's whitesail having had the biggest fleet racing, with 28 cruisers entered.
The MacSweeney Family's Sigma 33 'Scribbler' was the overall Friday League winner on 16.5 points for the seven races. Sean Hanley's HB31 'Luas' was second on 22.5 and the club's Rear Admiral Keelboats, Rob Foster's 'Clodagh,' an Oceanis 311, third on 29.
The Thursday night league, with racing for spinnakers and whitesail, had a total of 20 yachts entered and was won in IRC Spinnakers by Michael McCann's Etchell 'Don't Dilly Dally' on 7 points, with Ria Lyden's X332 'Ellida' second and 'Luas' third.
Sean Hanley's boat won the ECHO Spinnaker division, with Michael McCann second and Ria Lyden third.
Whitesail IRC on Thursdays was won by Ian Hickey's Granada 'Cavatina' in both IRC and ECHO divisions, with the McGrath Family's Dehler 34 'Big Mc' second in both. Pat Vaughan's Contessa 33, 'Aramis' was third in IRC and Paul O'Shea's Sun Odyssey ' Elegance' third in ECHO.
