The search for a woman missing from the Aran island of Inis Oírr has been stood down after the discovery of a body on Sunday evening.
A search at sea and on shore between the Aran islands and Connemara had been initiated after an appeal on social media by the family of Bernie Donoghue.
Ms Donoghue, originally from Inis Mór, is believed to have entered the water at Inis Oírr pier early on the morning of Friday, January 17th.
A body was found off the neighbouring island of Inis Meáin on Sunday evening at Tra Leitreach.
Her daughter Stephanie Donoghue issued a post on social media thanking everyone involved for their help and support with the searches and said it was greatly appreciated.
