If using the Erne System on the Inland Waterways, please note that there's a long-distance swimming event leaving from Carrybridge and going to Enniskillen on Sunday the 2nd of August from 9am until 4pm. Masters are asked to note any advice or instructions given by the event organisers and marshals and to give the swimmers a wide berth at all times. Also, vessels should proceed at slow speed and with minimum wash when passing the swimmers.
